Coronary artery anomalies are rare but clinically significant conditions that can present with a wide spectrum of manifestations, ranging from incidental findings to life-threatening events such as myocardial ischemia or sudden cardiac death. Accurate identification and appropriate management of these anomalies are essential for optimal patient outcomes.
In the Case Reports and Case Series in Cardiology Journal, this section is dedicated to high-quality case reports and case series highlighting congenital and acquired coronary artery anomalies. We welcome submissions that explore anomalous origin and course of coronary arteries, single coronary artery, myocardial bridging, and other rare variants, along with their diagnostic challenges and therapeutic strategies.
Authors are encouraged to present real-world clinical experiences, including multimodality imaging approaches such as coronary angiography, CT coronary angiography, and cardiac MRI. Reports focusing on interventional or surgical management, complications, and long-term outcomes are particularly valuable. These publications aim to enhance clinical awareness, improve diagnostic precision, and guide management strategies in patients with coronary artery anomalies.
