HFpEF Case Reports in Clinical Cardiology

HFpEF Case Reports in Clinical Cardiology

Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a complex and increasingly recognized subtype of heart failure characterized by typical heart failure symptoms despite a normal or near-normal left ventricular ejection fraction. Case Reports and Case Series in Cardiology Journal invites the submission of HFpEF case reports and case series in clinical cardiology that highlight rare presentations, diagnostic complexities, comorbid associations, and evidence-based management strategies.

This dedicated section focuses on clinically relevant cases involving diastolic dysfunction, preserved systolic function, and challenging patient scenarios that contribute to improved understanding and treatment of HFpEF in daily cardiology practice.

We welcome manuscripts on:

  • HFpEF with diastolic dysfunction

  • Elderly patient HFpEF case reports

  • Hypertension-associated HFpEF

  • Obesity-related HFpEF

  • Diabetes and metabolic syndrome in HFpEF

  • Atrial fibrillation with HFpEF

  • Pulmonary hypertension associated with HFpEF

  • Rare diagnostic and imaging findings

  • Echocardiography-based HFpEF cases

  • Novel pharmacological management

  • Complex comorbidity case series

  • Long-term follow-up outcomes

At Case Reports and Case Series in Cardiology Journal, we encourage authors to submit rare, educational, and clinically significant HFpEF cases that improve diagnosis, risk stratification, and therapeutic decision-making in clinical cardiology.
